Since 2006 we have been a fixture on the Japanese telecommunication scene. We are dedicated to our mission to bring the same powerful unified communications and business phone systems enjoyed by major enterprises to a wide range of SME and SMB customers across Japan. In the last decade we have helped clients gain a competitive edge, reduce their costs, and create a flexible, scalable foundation for growth.
Japan’s approach to business has always been collaborative rather than individual, which is why we pioneered the use of powerful group call management systems. Unlike Western companies which rely on individual phone numbers, Japanese companies continue to prefer a PBX that share responsibility for managing calls between employees. It’s about better, more responsive customer experiences, and a collective mindset.
Our takeover by Broadsoft has made us stronger and even more adaptable in a rapidly evolving space. We had already worked together for four years, and our strategic partnership enabled us to offer the kind of group functionality and powerful integration that has made us first choice for unified messaging and call center technology. From a deployment perspective, I am very proud of our unrivaled ability to integrate any communications technology with our platform.
In the near future, we’ll see even more integration of communications platforms, with chat now one of the fastest growing trends. For most companies Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) will be an important way to reduce infrastructure costs and overheads, while empowering an expanding mobile workforce.
When I first visited Japan, twenty three years ago, I knew I had found a country with the right blend of opportunities and civilized culture that I had been searching for. Since that day I have never looked back, and I’m proud to say I will be a part of the Japanese business and technology scene for many years to come.
